19, police reported a storage unit at the Home Depot on 26 Mile Road between Van Dyke and M-53 was broken into and snowblowers were taken. The burglars made a forced entry through the side service door and then backed a vehicle up to the front of the garage to remove the snowblowers. 19, members of the New Hope Church on Van Dyke between 24 Mile Road and 25 Mile Road reported to police that two snowblowers had been removed from a storage garage overnight. Several other items were in the garage but were not taken. Two lock haps were pryed off the ends of the overhead garage door and a leaf blower was taken.
